Screw Conveying

Archimedean Screw Conveyors are an essential part of many conveying and storage systems. Being simple and robust in design and easily maintained, they provide a low cost, versatile conveying capability with many bulk solids handling applications in manufacturing and processing factories. U-trough and tubular screw conveyors have been continuously developed over many years and are available with a wide range of options to suit every requirement. The well proven, modular design ensures easy assembly, installation and maintenance. It also allows any configuration to be easily and quickly built up to suit a customer's exact requirements in both mild steel (painted or galvanized ) and stainless steel.

In general most free flowing powders, grains and pellets as well as many materials with poor flow characteristics can be successfully conveyed with a screw conveyor. The rate at which material is conveyed can be fairly accurately controlled by varying the screw flight design, speed and percentage loading - useful for feeding process machinery at a pre-determined rate for example. Lengths up to 50m can be accommodated with the use of intermediate hanger bearings and the materials of construction can be varied to suit the material being conveyed and site conditions .The quality of our products are highly superior. They serve their purpose efficiently with better efficiency and longer life. We are one of the leading exporters of Material Handling equipments.

Application
Screw Conveyor is designed for feeding one or more products mixing and feeding to process in various chemical, foundries, food power plants, fertilizer industries, Sugar, Cement, Food, Agro Chemicals and Wheat and Flour and etc.

Screw Conveyor Size
The conveyor screw size is directly related to the material bulk density and the required throughput but several other factors must be considered. Reliable trouble-free operation of screw feeders and conveyors requires careful consideration of many factors during design. Some of the important design criteria are:

Properties of Material to be Conveyed

Flight Type

Conveyor Screw Size

Maximum Lump Size

Required Duty of Construction
